which Island and Which Customer?

Discover Cayman

Grand Cayman

Grand Cayman, the largest of the Cayman Islands and is the main entry point for clients. Its vibrant capital, George Town, boasts the Cayman Islands National Museum, a variety of bars and restaurants, and fantastic duty-free shopping. History enthusiasts can explore the historic Pedro St James and the National Trust Heritage Trail, while nature lovers will be drawn to the Queen Elizabeth II Botanic Park and the iconic Stingray City. Grand Cayman also provides the perfect base for island hopping, with regular flights to its Sister Islands, Cayman Brac and Little Cayman.

Cayman Brac

Cayman Brac is often described as being “off the beaten track” and has the most dramatic scenery of the three Cayman Islands. Only a 30-minute flight from Grand Cayman (and seven minutes by plane from Little Cayman), Cayman Brac is a nature lover’s paradise. The rocky “Bluff” that runs down the centre provides dramatic views and the exotic flora and fauna creates an ideal backdrop for exploring. The Cayman Brac Parrot Reserve is the perfect place to spot these colourful feathered friends and the free island nature tour is an absolute must.

Little Cayman

The smallest of the three islands, Little Cayman, is barefoot luxury at its best. Home to less than 200 people and only 10 square miles, this picture-perfect paradise is ideal for those looking to escape and unwind and with secluded, deserted beaches, particularly appeals to couples. Owen Island is just a short paddle by kayak and is completely uninhabited, making it a great spot for a picnic or some snorkelling. Birders can visit the largest colony of red-footed boobies in the western hemisphere at the Booby Pond Nature Reserve while (below the water level) divers can experience the Bloody Bay Wall – a sea wall that drops a staggering 2,000m.

experiences

There is a lot more to the Cayman Islands than meets the eye so, once you have identified what type of customer you are selling to, you can marry them up with the Cayman Islands for:
Families

Families

White sandy beaches and perfectly clear water make for happy parents and happy children. Camana Bay is also a hub of entertainment for little ones with fountains, play areas and even an open-air family cinema during the summer months. Most of the larger resorts offer kids’ clubs.

Start planning a family vacation.

Diving

Diving

With 365 dive sites to choose from across the Cayman Islands, the diving really is unrivalled. The visibility is some of the best in the world and abundant marine life, walls, trenches and pinnacles mean divers can well and truly get lost in a world of their own. It is also the perfect place to learn to dive with lots of dive schools offering instruction and warm, clear waters to practise in.

Romance

Romance

Wedding/honeymoons/couples – luxury hotels, secluded beaches and experienced on-island event planners make the Cayman Islands the perfect place for a wedding, a honeymoon, a renewal of vows or simply a romantic getaway.

Tours & Adventures

Tours & Adventures

Go beyond the beach and help clients discover a different side of the Cayman Islands. From exploring the islands’ natural beauty and cultural highlights to caving, birding, ATV adventures, golf, tennis, and more, there are plenty of ways to fill an itinerary with memorable experiences on land.

Watersports

Watersports

Give clients endless ways to experience Cayman’s crystal-clear waters, from world-class diving and snorkelling to fishing, boating, sailing, kayaking, paddleboarding, and more. With experiences to suit every interest and ability, it’s easy to add time on the water to any Cayman Islands itinerary.

Culinary

Culinary

Give your clients a taste of the Culinary Capital of the Caribbean. The Cayman Islands dining scene offers everything from fresh fish at a seaside spot to traditional Caymanian favourites and fine dining. Farm-to-table experiences showcase local produce and the day’s catch, served with the warm hospitality we call Caymankind.

For clients who travel for food, build an itinerary around Cayman Cookout in January, with celebrated chefs, tastings and special dining experiences. Restaurant Month in October offers another reason to visit, with specially priced menus that encourage clients to explore more of the Cayman Islands restaurants.

Nature/Wildlife

Nature/Wildlife

There is an abundance of nature-based activities to choose from across all three islands. The National Trust for the Cayman Islands offer guided nature walks but it is just as easy to explore independently.
